NE Resident/Project 5

Today the kids got to do a project but I got a break! This month I had to become a resident of Nebraska since my Idaho driver’s license expires in 14 days! So Mommy of our little friend that was with us yesterday took over the project today and had all the kiddos over at her house while I became a resident of Nebraska! Thank you so much Jeanne! The kids had so much fun and did'nt want to part when I went to pick them up!

I finally got some photos printed to put in the heart frames that the kids made

1 plate 2 projects (Projects 3&4)

Using one paper plate we made two more projects today! Yeah we are all caught up now 4 days and 4 projects done! We actually used three plates because I had three little project makers here today. Each child got to make two projects using one plate though! We had a fun time with Lyrah this afternoon thanks for coming to work on our project and play with us!

Wreath and a heart

To make the wreath:

Materials:
Paper plate
tissue paper
glue
paint brush
ribbon
stapler
buttons
hearts...whatever else you would like to glue on

I folded the plate in half and cut out the center to get a circle for the wreath. I gave them each a litle plate with some glue on it and a paint brush to paint the glue on their plate then they ripped the tissue paper and glued to their hearts content.

They are so cute!

I used a small piece of wrapping ribbon and stapled it on the top to hang the wreath, then had them glue hearts or buttons over the staples to cover them.

For the heart...

Using the circle I cut out of the plate I folded it in half to cut out hearts. We then had fun decorating them with some glue and glitter and buttons!

Projects 1 & 2

We did two projects today. It is day three of the month so that means we have only missed one so far! For the first day we kept this one pretty simple. I picked up these wood heart frames from Walmart for $.97 each and they made for a cute easy project for young ones. Even Winston’s (he is two) frame turned out pretty cute! A project you can't go wrong with really! While we waited for paint to dry before putting on the stickers to decorte the frames we made heart characters. Winston's very promptly got destroyed. Remington made an alien heart guy and did not want the arms or legs on just lots of eyes....whatever. I need to get some pictures printed to put in the frames for display.

Love to paint

The heart characters...one of those projects that never turns out like I imagined but whatever they love to cut (Remington cut out most of his own heart I drew on the paper!) and glue things so they had fun! That is the idea!

Happy Groundhog day!

Happy Groundhog day and happy February to ya’ all! February is one my favorite months of the year mainly because it is the month birthday is in and also this fun Holiday we let those we love know how much we love them. My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is doing holiday related projects with my kids. For the first 14 days of the month I try to do a daily craft! We do miss a few days but will try to do one daily so watch for those crafts to be shared with you. We will try to do as many as we can as we have a busy month ahead here in ShannaMade household both sets of parents/grandparents are coming to visit so we are excited for that! I will also have another give away for a ShannaMade comfort pad so be sure to check for that and how you can win! Have a great Month!
